The 2001 Market Street Project is an 8-story mixed use building including 7 levels of apartments, mapped for condominiums, over a 30,000 SF commercial space to be leased to Whole Foods Market. Below the commercial space are two levels of below grade parking. The gross square footage is approximately 195,000. The residential component consists of 81 units with single loaded open corridors, and a 3rd level landscaped podium. The project will feature a green roof on top of the 3rd floor single story units and a solar domestic hot water system. The building façade consists of plaster, thin brink, porcelain tile, and wood siding. The structure includes a matt foundation and post tension slabs with the exception of the commercial level deck which is mild steel. The residential units are serviced by two traction elevators and the commercial space by one passenger and one freight elevator.
