PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This is a 3-phase project that includes replacement of the West Approach to the BNSF railway Mississippi River crossing.  There are 27 Spans total, 23 spans are steel decks that will be hoisted into place, with 4 spans that have CIP concrete decks that include roll-in construction methods.  Substructure consists of formed concrete caps and columns, founded on drilled shafts with micropyles. Each phase was completed by a switch out during a 36-hour track outage.
